LEARNING PATHS CERTIFICATION

COACHING WEBINAR

OVERVIEW

This Certification Coaching Workshop Series, delivered in 8 weekly 90 minute webinars plus additional one-on-one coaching, is designed to provide a distance certification opportunity for organizational participants. The program will cover how to implement the Learning Paths methodology in specific job functions for organizations that want to build Proficiency Definitions and develop Learning Paths for all of their major job functions. This workshop is also designed for organizations who are already working on Learning Paths initiatives that want to train more Learning Path Project Leaders and take advantage of the latest Learning Path technology and materials.

SESSION DESIGN:

Each webinars will cover particular aspects of the methodology and how to apply it, together with the forms and knowledge of implementation details. Along with an opportunity for interactive discussion, there will be an emphasis on practice and

application between each session. Participants will be able to develop a specific Learning Path as part of the hands-on application during the time frame of the series.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

This series covers how to set up and run a Learning Paths initiative and be ready to start a Learning Path project when participants return to work. A series of 8 weekly 90-minute webinars will cover the following:

Week 1:

• How to Present the Business Case for Learning Paths

• Learning Paths Overview

• The Basics of Forming a Learning Path Team

• Selecting the Job Function

Week 2:

• Create a Project Schedule and Plan

• Develop and Implement a Research Plan

Week 3:

• Build Proficiency Definitions

Week 4:

• Map a Current Learning Path

• Identify Quick Hits, Drive Out Waste, Variability and Time

Week 5:

• Structure and Sequence a New Learning Path

• Write Activity Descriptions

Week 6:

• Revise the Learning Path

• Review the New Learning Path

Week 7

• Use Templates to Write Mentor and Employee Guides

Week 8

• Develop an Implementation Plan

• Measure and Track Results

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Each organization will have an unlimited license to use the Learning Path Methodology and reproduce all materials within their company. In additional, all workshop participants will be certified as Learning Path Project Leaders and be able to lead a Learning Paths project. Also included for each participant:
